Lots more Easter and Big boy bed pictures...

Happy Easter!!!

We hope you all had a great weekend we sure did!

The Easter Bunny come to our house this morning!
Harrison had fun with his Easter Baskets from the Easter Bunny and from Grammy, He also had one last night from Nini & Papa, it looks more like Christmas than Easter around here.

Harrison's Room got a new addition today... a big boy bed... but we are keeping the crib too till we see how it goes. Yes he is just 17 months old, and he has not climbed out of the crib YET but the doctor says that some times it helps with the night terrors to get them out of the crib so we will see how this adventure goes.

We had to rearrange things some to add the new bed so I took lots of pictures to share with Harrison's family and friends so here are several shots from the big boy's room. We will be adding a bookshelf too we Daddy gets it finished it is going to be so NEAT, we can't wait.

My baby's room is looking less and less like a baby's room and more and more like a big boy. It kinda of sad to see it with out the changing table (that did not even make the to this house) and now the chair that I feed and rocked in him has made its way out with the new addition of a big boy bed. But he loves his room and has so much fun in there so that makes it bittersweet.

Here are a couple of pictures from last year on Easter. The one on the right is Harrison and his cousins Samuel and Jack (Jack did not get to come yesterday, he was spending time with his Mom's family but we missed them). This is the second post of the weekend so keep scrolling down if you have not had enough pictures yet :)

With all the fun we have made Easter we seem to forget sometimes the real reason for the Holiday, that God had to give his son over to pain, suffering and death to save us from our evil, sinful ways, but glory to God many years ago the Tomb was empty and Christ arose.

The Empty Tomb"Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance. So she came running to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one Jesus loved, and said, "They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we don't know where they have put him!" So Peter and the other disciple started for the tomb. Both were running, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. He bent over and looked in at the strips of linen lying there but did not go in. Then Simon Peter, who was behind him, arrived and went into the tomb. He saw the strips of linen lying there, as well as the burial cloth that had been around Jesus' head. The cloth was folded up by itself, separate from the linen. Finally the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went inside. He saw and believed. (They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.) Then the disciples went back to their homes, but Mary stood outside the tomb crying. As she wept, she bent over to look into the tomb and saw two angels in white, seated where Jesus' body had been, one at the head and the other at the foot. They asked her, "Woman, why are you crying?" "They have taken my Lord away," she said, "and I don't know where they have put him." At this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not realize that it was Jesus. "Woman," he said, "why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?" Thinking he was the gardener, she said, "Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will get him." Jesus said to her, "Mary." She turned toward him and cried out in Aramaic, "Rabboni!" (which means Teacher). Jesus said, "Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, 'I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.' " Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news: "I have seen the Lord!" And she told them that he had said these things to her."- John 20:1-18
