Apples and Pears

I have apples and pears from Dad and have been trying new recipes with them. Here is a Pear Tart that is WONDERFUL and did not last long at all here and can't want to make another one. It wound be great with any fruit.
Pear Tart

3 TBS butter, softened
3/4 c plus 1 TBS sugar, divided
3/4 c all purpose flour
1/3 cup finely chopped walnuts
1 package cream cheese ( used reduced fat)
1 egg
1 tea vanilla
4-6 sliced pears
1 tea cinnamon

beat utter and 1/2 cup of sugar for two minutes until crumbly. beat in flour and nuts. press onto the bottom of a 9 inch fluted tart pan with removable bottom, coated with cooking spray ( I used a spring form pan that I use for cheesecake)

beat cream cheese until smooth. beat in 1/4 cup of sugar, egg, and vanilla, spread over crust.

arrange pears over cream cheese mix and combine cinnamon and remaining sugar to sprinkle over pears.

Bake at 425 for 10 minutes. Reduce to 350 and bake 15-20 more mins. cool on rack for 1 hour then in fridge for 2 before serving YUMMY
Apple Crisp


INGREDIENTS

2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups rolled oats
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
1 1/2 cups butter
2 quarts peeled, cored and sliced apples

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, combine the flour, oatmeal, cinnamon, nutmeg and brown sugar. Cut butter into mixture until crumbly.
Take half of the mixture and pat it into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Cover crumb mixture with apple slices, then sprinkle apple slices with remaining crumb mixture. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 45 to 50 minutes or until apples are tender.
