This and That

Sunday Matthew, Jeremy, and Angie came over Sunday for a little play time for the boys and to make pizzas for dinner. Harrison is still off and on felling good so he was not in the best mood but over all I think the boys had a big time.

Like I said Harrison is still feeling a little funky. He is fine in the morning then gets a fever in the afternoon. Anyway, I have been so thankful that we have toys put up to switch out from time to time. This has been very helpful since we have been in the house for over a week and half. I just pull something new out everyday.

Chocolate-Peanut Munchies (I don't know where I got this one from put)

This picture is not good at all they were really dark chocolate on the outside and peanut butter inside and so yummy and not too sweet.

1 1/2 c all purpose flour

1/2 c cocoa

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 c butter, softened

1/2 c sugar

1/2 brown sugar

3/4 c creamy peanut butter

1 egg

1 TBS vanilla

3/4 c powdered sugar

2 TBS sugar

1. In medium bowl stir together flour, cocoa, and baking soda (set aside)

2. In large bowl combine butter, 1/2 sugar, brown sugar, and 1/4 peanut butter. beat with mixer until combined. add egg, milk, and vanilla, beat well. Beat in flour mixture. shape dough into 32 balls about 1 1/4 inches in diameter.

3. for filling, in a bowl combine powdered sugar and remaining 1/2 cup peanut butter. mix until smooth, shape into 32 balls.

4. Preheat oven 350 degrees. flatten chocolate dough ball, top with peanut butter ball, shape dough over peanut butter and reshape into ball.

5. Put on baking sheet after rolling in sugar. Bake about 8 mins
